Delta ER doctors thankful powers that be heeded their calls for increased staffing

The Delta Hospital Emergency Physicians Association is pleased to announce that through new government funding, we are now able to have a second physician on during most peak hours of operation in the emergency department.

This will allow us to attend to both the seriously ill and minor illnesses and injuries in a more timely manner.

The Delta Hospital ER physicians would like to thank the Ministry of Health and the Fraser Health Authority for hearing our concerns about inadequate staffing, and we would especially like to thank MLA Vicki Huntington for her dedication and hard work in ensuring the residents of Delta have access to timely care in their emergency department.
