MLA encourages undergrads to consider working as Legislative Tour Guides

Delta, B.C. – Delta South MLA Vicki Huntington is encouraging undergraduate students to apply to the Legislative Tour Guide Program. As tour guides, these students work in the heart of our capital city, Victoria, to bring BC history and parliamentary procedure to life for thousands of school groups and visitors from around the world.
“This is a chance to learn first-hand, how our government works”, says Vicki. “You may be inspired to become an MLA in the future.”
The program is open to post-secondary students enrolled at a Canadian accredited institution, who have public speaking experience and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and a second language. The application deadline is February 10, 2012.
