South Delta is fortunate to have politicians willing to stand up for the environment

Re: Foes join hands to fight fish farms, May 12

The article refers to the commendable efforts of our MP, John Cummins, to fight open-net fish farms. It should be noted that both Cummins and MLA Vicki Huntington joined Alexandra Morton and her fellow marchers on their recent march to the legislature to pressure the B.C. and federal governments to put an end to these fish farms.

We are fortunate in South Delta to have elected representatives who care about our environment. Hopefully, our governments will hear the message and take action before our wild salmon have been driven to extinction.
